    Product Description

WEATHERMATE Construction Tape from Dow is recommended to seal the joints and seams of STYROFOAM WEATHERMATE housewraps and STYROFOAM insulated sheathings. In these applications, WEATHERMATE Construction Tape enhances resistance to moisture and air infiltration. The tape can also be used to repair damaged foam insulation or housewrap, reducing material costs and job-site waste.

    • Strength, durability and impact resistance
    • UV resistance – the oriented polypropylene backing is formulated with a UV-treated film to help resist degradation from exposure to sunlight
    • Excellent tack
    • Application ease
    • Water-resistive barrier – if installing foam as a water-resistive barrier, 2-7/8 in tape must be used
    • Pliability to ensure a tight seal, even at extremely low temperatures
