Solenoid Valves

Solenoid valves are highly engineered and electronically operated devices used in HVAC mostly to control the flow of liquids or gases. The solenoid valve is controlled by electrical current which is run through a coil. Solenoid valves can be "normally open", "normally closed" or possess a "two way configuration". Major features to be considered when buying a solenoid valve are Voltage, Flow Capacity, Wattage, Valve Type, Pressure rating and Connection Type.
