    Product Description

The Honeywell TrueCLEAN Enhanced Air Cleaner is designed for use in return air duct of a forced air heating, cooling and ventilation system. TrueCLEAN provides extremely high filtration performance while destroying captured contaminants, including viruses, bacteria and mold spores. The Honeywell TrueCLEAN Enhanced Air Cleaner treats the entire air stream through a state of the art three-step process. -Charge: In stage one particles in the air are electrically charged by an array of ionizer points as they enter the air cleaner. -Capture: In stage two the charged particles are electrically attracted and captured in the filter cartridge which is located within an electric field. -Destroy: In stage three captured particles are destroyed by electrical current flow and ion bombardment.

Why TrueCLEAN? As air is moving through your heating and cooling system, Honeywell TrueCLEAN deactivates 99%*** of captured particles like airborne dust, pollen, smoke, mold spores and other bacteria - making it dramatically more effective than single-room portable units, standard one-inch furnace filters, and practically all other whole-house air cleaning systems.

Why a Whole-House Air Cleaner? While portable air cleaners can provide a certain level of effectiveness in individual rooms, Honeywell TrueCLEAN is installed in your central heating and cooling system. It cleans the air going through your ductwork and pushes the cleaner air out to all rooms in your home.
High Performance, Low Maintenance: Not only are Honeywell TrueCLEAN Enhanced Air Cleaners phenomenally effective, they're also quiet, out of the way and easy to maintain. It's as simple as replacing the filter every 6 to 12 months and lightly dusting the ionizing points with a paintbrush. There's no need to vacuum or wash the filter. That means you get cleaner air for your family without a lot of work.
Save Energy. Save Money: Along with cleaning the air, TrueCLEAN air cleaners can save you money by keeping your heating and cooling equipment clean, improving efficiency and extending service life.
Plus, TrueCLEAN is backed by Honeywell and a 5-year warranty - so you can count on built-in reliability.
TrueCLEAN: How It Works: A TrueCLEAN system cleans the air in your home using advanced 3-step filtration technology - a unique three-step process.
Advanced 3-step filtration technology: Charge. Capture. Destroy. That's the basis of the three-step process that TrueCLEAN uses to treat all the air flowing through the system.
    Step 1: Charge
Particles enter the TrueCLEAN system through ionizing points and become electrically charged.
    Step 2: Capture
Next, particles travel into the media filter, where they are captured in the fibers. But TrueCLEAN applies a continuous charge, so dirt is loaded 360 degrees around the filter fibers - not just on the face. This captures more particles than a standard media filter and helps the filter last longer. Efficiency actually increases as the filter gets dirty.
    Step 3: Destroy
Once particles are captured, the charging strips continue working to destroy microorganisms inside the filter instead of letting them grow - trapping and deactivating more than 99%.***
    TrueCLEAN Delivers
